As we approach 40 years since the founding of Metal Hammer in Greece, we turn our attention to our homeland and its metal scene. Four decades filled with bands and musicians who, with dedication and passion, fight for their dreams and earn respect both at home and abroad.
From 1984 to today, Metal Hammer has documented this journey in ink and paper. We celebrate the evolution of Greek metal with a special anniversary edition and a historical CD—a true tribute to the roots and growth of the Greek metal scene.

Νοέμβριος 2024: 1984 – 2024 | Metal in the Land of the Gods – 40 Χρόνια Ελληνικού Metal
Συμπληρώνονται 40 χρόνια από την ίδρυση του Metal Hammer στην Ελλάδα, και για αυτόν τον Νοέμβριο, στρέφουμε το βλέμμα στη χώρα μας και την metal σκηνή της. Τέσσερις δεκαετίες γεμάτες από μπάντες και μουσικούς που, με πάθος και αφοσίωση, παλεύουν για τα όνειρά τους και κερδίζουν το σεβασμό εντός και εκτός συνόρων.
Από το 1984 μέχρι σήμερα, το Metal Hammer καταγράφει αυτή την πορεία με μελάνι σε χαρτί. Γιορτάζουμε την εξέλιξη του ελληνικού ήχου με ένα συλλεκτικό αφιέρωμα και ένα ιστορικό CD–ένα ντοκουμέντο που τιμά τις ρίζες και την πορεία της ελληνικής metal σκηνής.
Αυτός είναι ο Νοέμβριος του Metal Hammer, αφιερωμένος σε όσους κρατούν το metal ζωντανό στην Ελλάδα.
